Embark on an unforgettable journey with Dream Team Hunting Safaris. Tucked away in the lush landscapes of Swartruggens, in the North West province of South Africa, our 7413-acre ranch offers a unique hunting experience you would not find anywhere else.
When making use of permanent blinds or tree stands, it is a tradition to start before sunrise in the morning and spend most of the day out hunting. There are nine different stands or blinds on the property, so you will always have more than enough options to choose from, depending on the wind direction and whatever species you are looking for. Since no rifle hunting is allowed at Dream Team Ranch, animals are in a stress-free environment and much effort is made not to disturb the natural movements of the animals. We are a fully equipped shooting range with 3D targets up to 60 yards.
While trophy quality is generally above average at Dream Team, we pride ourselves in our exceptional Kudu, Impala, Bushbuck Nyala, and Mountain Reedbuck.
Our Story
Dream Team Bow Hunting Safaris is owned by Rupert & Hennie Venter. As enthusiastic and dedicated bowhunters, they have always dreamed of having their private hunting ranch. In 2014 this dream became a reality when they obtained the perfect piece of the African bushveld, near Swartruggens in the North West province of South Africa. The ranch is 1760 acres and consists mainly of hill country covered with bushes and trees and thickly covered river beds, perfect for walking and stalking with the bow. Dream Team has healthy numbers of breeding herds of all huntable species, as well as exceptional trophy-quality animals.

5 DAY PLAINS GAME SAFARI - $6,500
This is the perfect package for the first-time African hunter. It is designed to provide the first-time African hunter with the opportunity to collect a good number of the common African plains game species at an affordable rate in a reasonable time. The package includes the following: Return road transfer from OR Tambo International Airport to Dream Team Safari Lodge. All accommodation & lodging, full catering, housekeeping, and all camp staff. Non-alcoholic drinks & house brand alcoholic drinks. Fully equipped hunting vehicle, professional hunter, tracker & skinning staff. Skinning & field preparation of trophies. 7 DAY PLAINS GAME SAFARIS- $10,000
This is the ideal package for the first-time African hunter who wants to have a larger variety of species to hunt and make the most of his/her first African safari. It is also perfect for the more experienced hunter who wants to spend that extra time to ensure that nothing, but the desired trophies is harvested. The extra two days take enormous pressure off both the hunter and the guide and ensure a higher quality hunt. If you are a bow hunter, this is the right choice for your first African Safari. It is also the minimum required days for a Cape Buffalo hunt. The package includes the following: Return road transfer from OR Tambo International Airport to Dream Team Safari Lodge. All accommodation & lodging, full catering, housekeeping, and all camp staff. Non-alcoholic drinks & house brand alcoholic drinks. This package is intended for the more experienced African hunter who wants to hunt a Cape Buffalo and also target those specific plains game trophies that have eluded him/her previously. The 10-day hunt gives you enough time to spend the necessary time on your Buffalo hunt, and still have enough time to target some specific plains game species. If you are interested in those nocturnal creatures and predators, this is also a great option for you. This is the ideal package for the bow hunter who wants to hunt a really good Buffalo and good quality Plains game. The package includes the following: Return road transfer from OR Tambo International Airport to Dream Team Safari Lodge. All accommodation & lodging, full catering, housekeeping, and all camp staff. The 15-day hunt gives you enough time to spend the necessary time on your Buffalo hunt, and still have enough time to target some specific plains game species. If you are interested in those nocturnal creatures and predators, this is also a great option for you.
