At African Select Hunting Safaris, we believe in fair chase walk & stalk hunting as it should be. We are a South African-based, owner-run outfitter operated by Arnold Claassen. Arnold hunts his privately owned family ranch and is well-known in the hunting industry. African Select Hunting Safaris enjoys hunting privileges with its clients on more than 300,000 acres. We have also proven ourselves to be thoughtful, patient, thorough, and effective with disabled hunters.
While our business is relatively young, our experience is vast. Arnold Claassen, owner, and founder of African Select Safaris, will be your professional hunter during your safari and provide a dedicated personal experience. As the name states, we offer a bespoke experience where each animal is carefully selected just for you.

OUR ACCOMMODATIONS
We hunt out of two different lodges. Using the lodges we have at our disposal; we tailor-make every hunt to our clients’ needs. We take into consideration where the best quality trophies would be, how much an area has been hunted, and how many of the targeted species are in a close vicinity around the lodge to minimize traveling time, etc.
We have fixed accommodation in all the hunting areas that you shall visit, where food and beverages shall be provided. This minimizes driving between hunting areas and will be arranged according to your wish list. Food—we mostly eat venison that comes freshly from the game that you have hunted. The meals will consist of steaks, stews, and soups with all the usual fresh vegetables. All sodas, water, beer, and wine will be supplied.
