Hunt Mill Hollow Ranch

Luxury Hunting Preserve in Oklahoma

Exclusive Eastern Oklahoma High Fence Big Game Hunting Preserve

Hunt Mill Hollow Ranch is a 4300 acre private, high fence wilderness in the beautiful hardwood and pine covered Ozark Mountains of Eastern Oklahoma. It is laced with a network of trails, food plots, beautiful streams and ponds, and has been intensively managed for trophy whitetail deer, elk, buffalo, and axis deer. Each year we harvest trophy whitetail deer that exceed 200” and trophy elk that top 400”.

Our ranch environment is ideal for harvesting a Trophy Whitetail Deer or Elk. The factors that make our ranch so ideal for trophy deer elk hunting is the combination of great genetics and rich nutrient food plots that play a huge role in creating a sanctuary for reclusive monster whitetail bucks and massive bull elk.

The owner and guides of Hunt Mill Hollow Ranch have a passion for high standards and will always provide you with excellent service and hospitality. We will cater to your every need, from our comfortable five-star accommodations to the dressing and skinning of your trophy elk or whitetail deer. The luxury lodge has a full-sized walk-in cooler to get that trophy cooled down quickly to make sure that those tenderloins taste their best on your grill back home! Our hunters aren't just customers, they are a relationship that we want to grow for years to come! We strive to provide a unique and memorable experience that you’ll cherish for a lifetime.

Trophy Private Land Elk Hunts Oklahoma

Our Elk Hunting trips are for the individual or small group of hunters looking to experience a true adventure chasing a trophy bull. Our trophy elk are pure genetic offspring of the original Yellowstone elk herd, with no crossbred red stag influence.

Hunting a true trophy Rocky Mountain Elk in a very wild and challenging hunt is best during the fall frenzy of rut when these massive bulls are out chasing the cows. Imagine a rut-crazed bull responding to a cow call at close range as you draw your bow or slowly raise your rifle. It is intense! The elk hunts are available in September and October to take advantage of the rut for Trophy Bulls scoring 350"or above that can your the freezer.

Elk hunting packages at Hunt Mill Hollow Ranch are generally for 3 days and 4 nights. Our elk hunting packages are determined by the size of the bull you want to harvest. We will determine the size of bull you want to bag, and during the hunt our guides will help field score the bulls you see during your hunt so you make sure you get what you are looking for.

Whether you book a trophy hunt for Whitetail deer, Elk or Bison, or if you are just staying at the ranch for any type of recreation, hog hunting can be added in without additional fees.

Hog Hunting on the Ranch

Your guide will drop you off and pick you up at your hunt location twice daily. The semi-guided hunt will begin at 3 to 4 PM after their arrival when hunters are transported out to their blinds or tree stands. Pick-up for the evening hunts will be after dark. If you hit a hog and need assistance in a retrieval, you can contact your guide via cell phone for an earlier pick-up. The following morning, hunters will be taken out to their blinds or tree stands just prior to sunrise. You are required to stay in your blind or tree stand until at least 8 AM. After 8 AM, if you would like to spot and stalk, you are welcome to give it a try. Remember to keep the wind in your face! Wild hogs have an excellent sense of smell. Their eyesight is only good if you are caught moving. A bowhunter can get within 20-30 yards almost every time if the stalk is done well.

Pick-up will be between 10 AM and 11 AM at a predetermined time and place. Brunch will be around 11 AM. Hunters are free to do what they would like through the mid-day. You are also always welcome to-take off on foot to chase the pigs after the morning hunt. Your guide will take you out to the blind or tree stand again between 3 and 5 PM for the evening hunt. Hunting on the ranch will end at the 11 AM brunch on the last day of your hunt. The hunting party will leave the ranch (hopefully with coolers full) to head home between noon and 2 PM on the last day. Night hunts can be made by special arrangements with your guide and will incur an additional fee. Stalking up on a group of wild hogs at night can be extremely exciting and potentially dangerous, but your guide will provide the firepower if necessary.

Additional recreational activities (ATV riding, electric mountain biking, skeet and trap, side by side rental) can be arranged for an additional fee. See Recreational Packages.

How Many Pigs Can I Shoot?

DEPENDS ON THE NUMBER OF BULLETS OR ARROWS AND BROADHEADS THAT YOU BRING!

As many as 3 hogs have been harvested by an individual bowhunter in one evening hunt. There have been archers that have harvested over ten wild hogs in a five-day hunt. There is NO TROPHY FEE! The hunt package will include meat processing of two wild hogs. Your first two hogs will be processed at no charge. Additional hogs will be processed for a fee of $50 per hog.

Care of Your Harvest

Harvested wild hogs will be taken back to a professional skinning and processing room. The ranch staff will clean and process all hogs harvested by our hunters. Hunters will get backstraps, shoulders, hams, and tenderloins. Alternatively, the hogs can also be quartered for the cooler. The package includes the meat processing of the first two hogs harvested by each hunter. After the first two hogs, the hunter will be charged an additional $50 per shot hog for cleaning/processing.   You can donate the meat but are still responsible for the cleaning/processing fees after your second hog.

Our processing service includes retrieval from the field, chilling your meat in a large walk-in cooler, or freezing your meat prior to departure. For the return trip home, we recommend that you bring one or two coolers for your meat.

Recommendations for Your Hunt

In an archery-only hog hunt, if you are using a pin site, it is best to have a sight light. Also, high powered, green or red lens flashlights can be used on picatinny stabilizers for low light conditions (Pigs will often time come in to your stand or blind right at dusk). If you plan on hunting anything other than feral swine (coyotes, bobcats, axis deer, whitetail deer, elk, or buffalo), or if you are doing your hog hunt during the state scheduled deer season, you will need to purchase a 5-day out-of-state Oklahoma hunting license for a nominal fee. This can be done on-line at www.wildlifedepartment.com/licensing.

We encourage predator hunting at any time during your hunt. Bring all your necessary hunting equipment and don’t forget to have extra arrows and broadheads. We have a few tree stand safety vests, but it is best to bring your own. All tree stands will have safety ropes to clip yourself onto prior to climbing. If you don’t like tree stands, you can hunt from one of the many stationary ground blinds. You are also welcome to bring your own pop-up blind for added mobility. If you are going to spot and stalk, we highly recommend snake boots or leggings, along with tick/insect repellent for your body and clothes.
