Czechland Outfitters has put together some of the best Kansas pheasant hunting, whitetail deer hunting, turkey hunting land available in North Central Kansas. The land consists of a combination of timber, grain fields, pastures, and CRP. All of the properties are pre-scouted and ready to hunt when you arrive.
We have thousands of acres of private land that has an abundance of turkey. We primarily have Rio-Grande species with some Merriam/Rio Hybrid turkeys. Our properties are located in Unit #2, and allow hunters to take 2 birds each. In past years we have experienced great success rates with 90% of the hunters killing one mature bird and 70% killing two mature birds. We offer a semi-guided 3 day / 4 night hunt, lodging included.
The outfitters will assist hunters in all ways, they will show the hunter the land, provide maps of their properties and show them where the birds are roosting and eating prior to the start of the hunt. A typical hunt consists of hunting the roost in the morning. Then mid morning thru the afternoon the turkeys are out feeding/breeding which require spot/stock hunting. Then in the evenings it is best to set up and wait for the turkeys to come back to roost.
Our turkey season starts the first week of April, with a 10 day Archery season. After those 10 days our shotgun season starts which allows hunters to hunt with either shotgun or bow, with the season ending the last day of May.
All turkey permits are over-the-counter and can be purchased from the Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks website, or purchased upon your arrival from a local vendor.
Hunter education is required if you were born after July 1, 1957. You must carry your card with you. If hunting in Kansas, you must have a hunting license plus your permit. The hunting license is good for the calendar year, and entitles you to hunt small game and game birds also.

The Czechland lodge was built over 100 years ago. It is one of the oldest operating farmyards in the state of Kansas, and consists of an older/updated farm house. The lodge is located in the heart of one of our best pieces of hunting property. It is not uncommon to see trophy whitetails running through the yard or hearing a trophy gobbler yards away in the creek bottom.
Lodge has 3 bedrooms, and can sleep up to 8 guests at a time.
Flat screen TV, DishNetwork Satellite TV and Picnic Tables outside for evening enjoyment.
Shower, Washer/Dryer, Stove, Microwave, Grill and all cooking utensils.
Hunts include lodging, but hunters are to bring their own food and beverages of choice.
Kansas temperatures change by the hour. Be prepared to dress in layers for cold weather in the evenings/mornings and dress in light clothing in the afternoons.

Go East from Belleville Kansas on Hwy 36 approx. 13 miles. At 300th Road (Gravel Road) turn left (north). Go 2 miles north to Marble Road. At Marble Road, turn right (east) and go approx 100 yards. Lodge is located on the left (north) side.
