Unguided Black Bear Hunts in Alaska
This is a fantastic hunting and fishing package for any outdoorsman. The adventure will be custom fit for your exact needs. You'll fly into AK a few days before the unguided black bear hunt and start your adventure off with a couple of days of float plane fishing. Mix it up with silver salmon, sockeye salmon, or trophy trout. Then fly deep into the Alaskan bush, well-rested, acclimated, and geared up for the hunt. You'll land in the alpine country where black bears are found foraging for berries across the hillsides. Enjoy a comfortable drop camp, fully outfitted with everything you'll need (including great food) to complete your trip of the decade! Because of the abundance of black bears, this trip can be great for larger hunting parties. Discounts are available for groups 4+. The best time is mid to late August through early to mid-September. Unguided moose hunting in Alaska can be one of the greatest experiences in all of North America. They are truly impressive animals, gigantic in size and stature. The state of Alaska allows for non-residents to hunt moose and black bear without a guide. Adventure Outfitters Alaska offers the most affordable moose-hunting trips possible! We have an excellent success rate and can accommodate large groups. There is a 2-person minimum on these hunts. This hunt is "turn-key", meaning we provide transportation to and from your hunting location, a full camp, a complete meal package, and an Iridium satellite phone. ***Booking & Cancellation Policy***
If booking more than 1 year in advance, a $1500 non-refundable deposit is required per person.
All transactions are subject to taxes and fees.
A 50% deposit is required to confirm all bookings through Adventure Outfitters. However, if booking more than 1 year in advance, a $1000 non-refundable deposit is required per person. This will hold the seats on the airplane and the camp. The remainder of the deposit is refundable and due a year before your hunt. Balance is then due the week of your flight into the field. We accept cashiers' checks, cash, PayPal, and all major credit cards. There is a 4% tax on all transactions. You must pay the balance in full before you enter the field.
A refundable deposit of $700 is also required for the camp rental. Satellite phone minutes will be subtracted from your deposit and then returned to you after the gear has been checked over.
DIY Hunts canceled 180 days or more from the flyout date will be refunded the amount of the deposit, less the 15% fee. DIY Hunts canceled 179 days or less from the flyout date will not be refunded.
You are responsible for all hunting licenses and big game tags. We DO NOT provide any hunting/shooting equipment or game processing supplies. Please read the regulations in full. You are expected to watch Department of Fish and Game videos entitled: “Is That Moose Legal” and “Field Care of Big Game”.
