Sage Canyon Outfitters is THE place for upland bird hunting in Oregon! We are located just outside of Maupin, Oregon, on over 8,000 acres of prime upland bird habitat near the beautiful Deschutes River, only a short drive from Portland or Bend.
We offer both guided and non-guided pheasant and chukar hunting trips, with individual, group, and corporate packages available. You can choose half-day or full-day hunting trips, and onsite lodging options are available exclusively to our hunters.

NON-GUIDED HUNTS
All packages are customizable. If you don’t see what you’d like, please give Bob a call.
15 Mixed Birds Good for up to 2 hunters, hunting in 1 group. Includes Ranch Access Fees. $625
20 Mixed Birds
Good for up to 3 hunters, hunting in 1 group. Includes Ranch Access Fees. $875
30 Mixed Birds
Good for up to 4 hunters, hunting in 1 group. Includes Ranch Access Fees. $1,200
40 Mixed Birds
Good for up to 4 hunters, hunting in 1 group. Includes Ranch Access Fees. $1,600
Mix includes ½ Roosters, and ½ Hens/Chukar (you choose mix). You can add on to any package, at any time. Ranch Minimum PER PERSON is $250 per person per day / 10 bird min release per field. No exceptions. Packages can’t be split over multiple days. The Ranch Minimum must be met per day. No exceptions. The ranch access fee is $50 per person. If you release ½ your birds and don’t hunt your other half for any reason (weather, health, dogs too tired, or other) the ranch access fee for the day will be $100 per person.
GUIDED HUNTS:
Guide & dogs (up to 4 hunters per Guide) can be added to any of the above hunts. Gratuity is not included in pricing. A recommended tip of at least 15% is suggested and will be split among staff. If you feel someone went above and beyond feel free to tip them directly. 15 Birds is the MINIMUM per release. No exceptions.

BAKEOVEN LODGE
(Day-Use Area)
The Bakeoven Lodge Day Use Area is located on the Bakeoven Hunting Preserve in the big red barn. The Lodge has one large conference room, kitchen facilities, and one bedroom with a bunk (twin over double). This facility is ideal for large group meetings, team lunches, and impromptu overnight stays.
RV HOOKUPS
$25 per night. Groups that are camping must still adhere to Ranch Minimums and must pay Ranch Access Fees. Please be respectful of the land and keep your area clean.
Absolutely NO fires outside of designated fire pits. Don’t leave trash out to turn into litter. Don’t dump any food waste. We have many dogs roaming the property and would hate to have any of them get into anything.
