Thank you for your interest in Willow Air Service. Willow Air Service was established in 1970, and we offer a variety of reasonably priced moose and caribou hunting packages.
We are an accredited, fully insured transporter that operates out of McGrath, Alaska, which is about an hour's flight from Anchorage.
Alaska Self-Guided Moose Hunts
We specialize in remote self-guided moose hunting and hunting combination trips.
We offer safe, affordable fly-in moose hunting trips into some of Alaska's most remote and pristine wilderness. We offer 3 great options for our unguided moose hunts.
If you're looking to hunt beside an experienced moose hunting guide, we now offer guided hunts. Our guides will fly you into camp and take you on a 10-day guided trip through a wildlife refuge. Return to a comfortable base camp after each day of hunting and enjoy your time spent with an expert who will guide you safely through the Alaska wilderness.

Self-Guided Alaska Moose Hunts

Self-Guided Float Moose Hunt

Self-Guided Extreme Float Moose Hunt
$15,000 per person
Season Dates:
September 5th - 25th. All hunts are 11 days, with 9 days of hunting spaced throughout the season. The Extreme float is 13 days with 11 days of hunting.
*All hunts include black bear, wolf, & wolverine combination hunt option **In addition to moose tag, all other Alaska big game tags must be purchased before the hunt
Moose and Bear Combo Hunts
Willow Air offers fully guided moose and bear hunts in southern Alaska near the Tsiu River. The area receives a lot of rain every year, sometimes raining every day, and as a result, there is not much hunting pressure. With the lack of hunting pressure, the trophy moose population is prolific, with 70+ inch bull moose seen regularly. The brown and black bear populations are also impressive with many trophy bears. These hunts are physically demanding, often hiking in the rain for hours but are very rewarding when you harvest a trophy bear or moose. Our professional guides are familiar with guiding both rifle and bow hunters.
The hunting season for bears and moose is September 1st - November 30th.

Rates: For a one-on-one, fully guided hunt: $40,000.
For a two-on-one, fully guided hunt: $32,000 each.
