The Cockhouse Lodge is a conversion from an old Cock Fighting (Roosters) arena back in the 1970's and 80's.  Now its a functioning hunting and fishing lodge sitting on 15.75 acres, complete with kitchen, outdoor fire pit courtyard, and an archery range.  The property is located in Navajo City 5 miles from Navajo Lake, the 2nd largest lake in NM. We're just 6 miles from the San Juan river which offers some of the best fly fishing in the world.  The lodge is also adjacent to a public landing strip accomodating for air travel. 

The lease is located in New Mexico's Unit 2, a high demand, high quality area for both Elk and Mule Deer, and consists of approx. 11,500 acres of private land.  Hunting leases are 7 days in length with a 5 hunter maximum. Each lease includes lodging, a 7 day DIY hunt, and an Elk or Mule Deer tag. Price per hunter is $3,500.
